Me too! Catching Fire is my favorite movie...I wasn't impressed with Mockingay part 1 though.Right now the hunger games series is my favorite, can't wait to see Mockingjay part 2........
WHAT?????!!!? How can you...?I kinda cheated and read the last few pages of the Mockingjay book but, thankfully I have a poor memory.
One has to look hard, but there are advantages to getting old.![]()
Probably old news by now, but DH and I took in "Jurassic World" at the Dollar Matinee today. The special effects were great if not exhausting...it was pretty much nonstop mayhem once the big Indominus Rex was introduced. Lots of dinos eating people. Lots of Vincent D'Onofrio swaggering. Lots of BD Wong being scientifically sneaky. Lots of Chris Pratt, well, just being smart-alecky and doing stunts.
And whereas DH and I enjoyed the movie -- and it is set up for another sequel -- we both agreed A LOT of the park's problems could've been truncated and managed with drones....but it would've made for a rather short movie.
I've never liked that movieActually I never liked Chris Pratt, in Guardians, my favorites were Groot & Drax. I only started to like Chris after my son got me watching "Parks & Rec."
LolThat's okay Brent, we can agree to disagree-![]()
Lol...yeah. You think the animals would try to leave.(Spoiler alert about the ending if you haven't seen "Jurassic World")
We also theorized that once they abandoned the island the Velociraptor and T. Rex would probably have an end-all encounter when the food chain dwindled and that the Mosasaurus -- unless it sprouted legs -- would probably starve to death in its enclosure. And what happened to all the birds? Did any migrate to the mainland?
I know, I know... overthinkin' it again.
