I don't know Sour. It took me a long time to get over Jared Leto playing Rayon in 'Dallas Buyer's Club." But, I love him again so anything is possible.

deedee, I doubt that this movie is everyone's cup of tea, but it was intense, and Redmaynes 'transformation' was incredible. It is a story of deep love and extreme sadness - not 'feel good' by any means.

I saw two movies on New Year's Eve that I thought I'd review...

"Inside Out"--I was worried about watching this because, it didn't look like a very good movie. However, I wasn't pleasantly surprised--it was pretty well done and very clever. Even though I enjoyed it, I think it is too much of a children's show and doesn't deserve a 5 star rating. I'd give it 3 1/2 stars out of five.

"Pixels"--personally, I just didn't get this movie. It was like a cheesy commercial to promote video games. Although the acting was decent; the plot, lines, and characters were lame, in my opinion. It was one of those movies that I couldn't wait to over, lol. I'd give it 1 out of 5 stars.

I mentioned the Redmayne movie to my brother (I need transportation) he wasn't interested. It would be good to see him UP and walking this time.

Lots of nudity, both male and female, in this movie. Done somewhat tastefully and in my opinion non offensively , but it is there.

I watched a movie called Quartet this morning. I thought it was pretty good, although some may find it boring(?). It's about a retirement home for former musicians/opera singers and Maggie Smith is the main character. I love her and I grew up listening to opera, classical & big band jazz type stuff (particularly Glenn Miller) because my Dad loved it. It was a sweet story and Billy Connoly was in it as well as Michael Gambon. He played a crotchety old director and Billy Connoly was hilarious as usual. Anyone else see this one? I have a bunch of movies sitting in my DVR (some from over a year ago) and decided I was going to try to watch them and clear up some space. Some are pretty old and most of them I have not seen yet. Here's a list that I can remember off the top of my head at the moment, if anyone cares to weigh in...
