Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

We are headed for the Apes movie, I can't even remember the name. The only one I've seen of the series, is the one before this and I liked it.

What I don't like is so many movies playing over 2 hrs.-2 1/2 - the seats are NOT comfy and brother and I are oldies. I thought I had enough cushioning but was wrong.

Hey, do you all watch these movies with your chicks? I watched "Merlin" with some of mine and they were fascinated. No one made a peep through the whole film!
Sean Connery movies were also a favorite. The girls' rating was: 2 wings up!

Sour, I would not see that movie anyway. I saw "Driver," with Ryan Gosling years ago, and that (horrific violence) has scared me away from anything else with "Driver," in the name.

There was violence, blood and gore for sure. I doubt that you would like this one.

Have you read that Quentin Tarrentino (probably spelled wrong) the king of SICK, Barfy, Gore, is doing a movie on the Manson Murders - in case reality wasn't gory enough.:sick
Gee hope he isn't counting on my Movie dollars - fat chance.

I enjoyed The Apes movie very much, furthermore I thought my brother didn't like it. He always has one eye closed (couldn't see the other one) but, he said he really liked it.
I should mention my brother is legally blind in one eye -so I guess he likes to let it rest.

Very excellent movie I would give it 3.5 stars out of 4, and my brother said the same.

Sorry cannot give away any spoilers.

Hope to see the British war movie - shamed to say I can't think of the name of it - this is getting to be problematic. Wait, just popped up " Dunkirk" shorter movie so less chance for butt coma. (Dunham kept running thru my mind) early reviews have been very good.
