This is my first flock in six years. In the past, I used Scratch & Peck in addition to free ranging. They used to be the only game in town for a natural, non-extruded feed, at least as far as I knew. Any new companies that I should look into? Hopefully something cheaper as my current flock is a lot larger than the last one. Thanks.

They're the only one I've tried so far that looks like the ingredients. Organic options abound, but the other ones I've tried have been in pellet or crumble form.

https://www.reedyforkfarm.com/shop/category/animals/organic-poultry-feed/ and
https://shop.smallpetselect.com/products/chicken-layer-feed?variant=32087082434594 may be worth looking into. If you have a large enough flock, it may be worth it to look into mixing your own feed.

There is a spreadsheet that I think @Kiki was working on. Might be another good thing to look into.

Crumbles or pellets feeds are often a better choice, organic or not, because the birds can't pick out the yummy bits and leave the rest, as some will do with whole grain diets. Then those birds will be malnourished, probably fat, and have health issues.
Several companies now make organic feeds for chickens, so see what's available fresh (by mill date) where you shop.
Organic feeds are all going to be more expensive, because it costs more to grow and process the ingredients.

Kiki do you use this brand?
I actually feed my chickens and quail this:
I prefer this feed for two reasons.
It's local
And fresh.
