Does anyone else have curtains or valances on the windows in their coop? My family/friends think I'm a bit crazy for doing this, but they really added alot to the coop.

Here's a picture of the coop from the outside.

I'd have to agree with your Friends/family on this one! If you are worried about too my sun or glare then I'd do the "frosted" window stuff you can purchase in a can. But I'm thinkin you are wanting it to look "pretty".

I have them!!!! I had an old pair, so I cut them down and put them up.

I looks like a little house from the outside.

My friends and family looked at me and thought I was NUTS!!!!!!

I'm an interior designer, I had to do it.

The valances that I have (which I made myself) are lime green with lady bugs on them and then there is a red with white poka dot border. They are on the inside of the coop and up high enough so they do not get pooped on. They show from the outside too and added a nice homely touch. I do have to sweep them off every once in awhile as they gather dust pretty quickly. I would attach a photo, but I don't know how to do that yet.
