Custom Broiler Feed

I have been lurking for close to a year. Thank you for all of the great info. Our family has a small laying flock (12 hens) and this year we will be raising 25 freedom rangers and 25 cornish X.

I have read Salatin's Pastured Poultry Profits and will be following his model. I have a two part question;

I have found a mill that will do custom feed about 5 miles from my house. What mix has everybody had luck with and will 500lbs (mill minimum) last the 8-10 weeks that I plan on raising the first batch of rangers?

500 pounds is perfect for 25 Cornish X's, I'm not positive for Rangers though. As long as the protein is 20-22%, I say go for it. You'll save a ton of money buying custom ground, and it will be GOOD food.
