My speckled sussex (bottom of the peck) has a cut on her comb, assumedly from another hen (One of mine has a tendency to try to pull others out of the nest box and another has some beef with the sussex though doesn't go after her too often). The cut is the worst I have seen on my own chickens, but there is no hanging off bits, so I believe it should heal easily on its own. I pulled her out of the pen, cleaned her up, added some corn starch for the bleeding and separated her. It stopped bleeding quickly so I am not too worried about the wound itself, but then she itched it with her foot and it started bleeding again. I applied Neosporin, but she keeps scratching it and starting the bleeding again.

What should I do to stop the bleeding if she keeps itching it and making it bleed?

update - its not dripping blood, just has a fresh layer of blood on it that should scab over if she doesn't keep kicking it. Should I let it dry and then apply neosporin?

I have put blood stop on some minor wounds before. It is great for dog nails too.
If you have vetericyn on hand, I would use that to help heal the wound quicker.

Thank you the bleeding stopped and it turns out the other hen actually took a chunk out of one side of her comb rather than just a cut. I have been applying vetericyn to it as well. It looks like it should heal up ok 😊
She's panting though, is that normal or should I be worried?

Is she eating and drinking normal?
My first thought was stress and adding electrolytes to her water may help.

You're right, it probably is stress since I moved her somewhere she hasn't been before to keep her safe while healing. I have her buddy in there with her who is doing fine. I will add electrolytes to the water and try to monitor her eating and drinking.

The wound scabbed over by night time, so it wasn't as bad as I initially expected, I was just panicking pretty bad. I am still treating it with vetericyn, but since she was panting so hard in the separate pen, I was afraid I was causing more harm than good by keeping her separated. She was anxious to the point that she almost looked ill and her crop wasn't empty, but it was very far from full by bedtime, so I moved her back to the flock and monitored her and no one has bothered her wound. She calmed down instantly, so I feel a lot better about her. I am going to continuously monitor her and make sure that no one is messing with her comb, but she seems to be doing well now :)
