Haven't tried it--- but I bet if you sprinkle gasoline on grass clippings the chickens won't touch'em.
Fumes-- fumes are just that fumes by the time they hit the ground the concentration of CO or COE is down to almost undetectable. Minutes after cutting it would be near zero.
Fumes and gas not a valid reason to not give to a chicken. Besides ---- do any of you know any one who cuts hay with out the aid of an internal combustion engine?
