Cut on Leg

Good morning/day everyone, I woke up this morning to an injured turkey. Somehow, it has cut its leg. I cleaned it and put some antibiotic cream as well as a bandage so the chickens stop pecking at it. I just wondered if there is something else I should do? Thanks so much for any advice.

Sounds like you are off to a good start.
You might want to look around to see if you can find what he cut his leg on and remove it.

I have looked around and can not find anything that it would have gotten into. I am keeping it clean and bandaged off and on. Also trying to let it dry out. Bandage during the day when it is wondering around and open during the night to dry out as best I can. It is swollen so hope that will do down soon. Still eating and drinking and getting around no problem. Thank you for the reply.
