Hi,
I have a flock of 12 hens who are a little over 2 months old. We have some leftover cooked good size chunks of steak. Can I feed it to them and if so do I need to cut it up into small pieces or will my chickens just pick at it? What is the best way to give it to them?
Thanks

While some don't advocate giving chickens meat, others see it as just another form of protein. They can probably pick it apart themselves without much trouble. But hey, if you're throwing out steak, I'll be over! I can cut it up myself!

Don't do it all the time or anything, but as long as it's not rotten, or gone bad, then yes they will love it, if it's not very tender, you should cut it up but in very small pieces so they don't choke on it.
