Hello everyone,
I just got a new hen and she is about 3 months and she got out and was going in the woods. Gladly we finally caught her and I decided to cut her wings (Black Australorp). I did and I found out i cut one to short and she is bleeding, will it get infected

ChickenGirl3 - this should be fine as long as the bleeding stops. If it is still bleeding, try putting some flour on it. As a last resort you can pluck the feather out, as then the vein will close and the bleeding will stop. Is it still bleeding?

I don't know? She is new she won't come near me, what should I do?

Don't know where you live but where I am it is getting dark and my chickens are already going to roost. Is it almost roost time where you are and can you check her then?
Chickens are easier to catch once they are roosting.

make sure the other chickens don't see the blood, because they will pick at her especially that she is new.

I tried the flour thing and it didn't work. I took her in the house and tried to puck it but she flew into the computer and then I remembered salmonella. Could I get it? I sanitized the surface.
