Cute as a Button alright!

Well my first attempt at hatching Button Quail is off and running.
Thought I would post a few pics for you to enjoy.
If you can guess what mutation of quail they are as chicks, throw in a guess!
These are now almost 24 hours old, so I put them in my newly made brooder.
there are more coming in the incubator as we speak.

This little fella just needs one more good push!

This is the oldest brother, the first to hatch.

My guess is wild type on this one.

These last two pics are of the same little squirt.

I fine Buttons to change as time goes on , it hard to tell as of now , I have some pure white to a blue or lav color as a few months old and some ture out to a 1/2 as 1/2 , some darker ones turn out to be just reg blue face buttom . so to me it very hard to tell when there that young

Are these the ones I sent? If so, my husband is going to be so jealous of that little tuxedo'd one. His tuxedo'd bird was killed and he really wanted another one, but no luck in this latest hatch. Did get a black chick with white wing tips that I am interested in seeing feather out.

I know the cinnamon-speckled girl is my most prolific layer, she's the mommy of a third of the eggs I sent out.
