My young birds grow so fast that some times I miss the small things about them while outside feeding. I try to snap pictures of them ever so often however. To document the growth process from chick to adult with photos. I was doing just that today and noticed that one of my buff silkies has the cutest little coloration Ive ever seen in a buff silkie. While its siblings have some lavender in the wing feathers. This one has a white tail and some white flight feathers. Its a nice contrast I think against the buff which is getting darker with age.

Sorry about the blurryness. They were moving a lot while they grabed some greens.

It's a mixed color bird. It should not be shown, it would be DQed.

I had a Red Silkie colored like that (only, replace the Buff with Red

). It is just due to not having a pure lineage. Still a pretty bird
