I need to get pictures of my couple....

Coq Au Vin with Pasqally
She's an other egg laying hybrid. If anyone has an idea to Au Vins mix I'd love to know
She's also about 2 years and from the same feed store.
Au vin is a true gentleman he's never forcefull with his girls always finding them goodies and has risked life and limb for them. Twice I have seen him protect them from a fox, first time I ran out to see what the noise was about he came running towards me and hot on his tail was the fox I stood mouth open in shock as he ran under my German shepherds legs and as if they where a tag team Lewis ( the dog ) took off after the fox who took a moment to realise it was now being chased. The next time I had just returned home to see the fox run off. My heart sank and as I thought for sure I'd lost someone I looked and looked one by one the girls all came back. But no Au vin. I thought "not my boy" I just couldn't give up their was no feathers in the foxes trail still a chance he's in hiding after a while I found him in the haw thorn bushes, good place too hide relief. Then he turned and I saw he had no tail and what looked like a deep gouge in his butt. He stayed out of my reach for a few days and I worried I tried to catch him but no way if the fox can't then he won't let me. He's never let me touch him but will eat from my hand so I did see it was healing ok no need to stress him. So here he is with all his butt feathers once again taking a bow with pasqally, who's real good at hiding when he sounds the alarm.

Okay, here are mine (sorry it took so long, I am out of town right now and have not been getting on the computer a lot).

Names: Pheonix & Dayday
Age: Dayday- 1 year, Pheonix- 4 1/2 months
Breed: BLRW and Red Star
About: I got Pheonix when he was about 3 1/3 months because I wanted a rooster. Before I got him, Dayday was the only adult chicken I had. Although Dayday completely avoided him at first, they did eventually start to get along. I actually moved recently, and with the house, came 10 more chickens (the people who lived there before us couldn't take them with so they asked us to take them). Although, the other chickens weren't that nice to either of them. So they are almost always together (except when Dayday is with the ducks that she grew up with)
