It makes me sick to look at all of the adds on Craigslist for "The cutest kittens in the world" and "free to a good home".All of my cats are from the animal shelter, except for one that was abandoned at a school. They are all spayed and neutered. We rescued my 10 year lab mix from a high kill shelter when she was 11 months old. They gave her up because "they were moving to a new home, and she chewed too much". She was almost put down twice before we got her, someone at the a local rescue had been taking her in. She is the best dog ever, and she doesn't chew a thing anymore. She was just going through a puppy stage and she needed a toy! Anyway, thank you so much, those animals must be SO grateful.
