Just hangin' out with Mom... I guess a benefit of having a human mama is that they can all climb on me when they want to - a chicken mama would NOT be so happy about that at this point!
These girls are three weeks old, and this is their third time spending the whole day in their secure run. We live in SoCal, and the temps range between 70 and 90 during the day; our run is mostly under shade trees.
Chickens and a glass of wine... honestly, what more could you want?!

That is so cute!!Thought I'd share a few pics ov my cheeky girls xx love my ladies xhere a my girls climbing up my daughters leg lol gave her a fright at first as she wasn't expecting it haha xxx

That is the cutest thing I have ever seen. If only out girls did that...........We built a perch fro them out of wood and nails but they will not sit on it even when I place her little butt on it, they will not tolerate it. Two of our chicks love it and sleep on it every night but, the other two will not even go near it. It is a very rare sight to see the chicken sitting on it.Oh, and here are my chicks on a home made chicken swing!

This is my silkie, Neytiri. He's doing his best impression of a ball cap. But I didn't have the heart to tell him, his bill is way to small, the only thing that wouldn't get sunburned is my nose
