Cute, Ugly, Pretty

I am new to raising silkie chicks. I was wondering how long the ugly stage between cute and pretty lasts?
I only have 12 chicks, and they are in the first two stages. At what age do I get to see the last stage?

Hi here is my 8 week old silkie peep. They start changing around 7 to9 weeks. Some develop quicker than others so don't worry if yours is a slow developer before you know it they will be grown. enjoy every stage!! My peep is a early bloomer unlike her sister peepers who is slower to develop. It just depends on the bird.peep just turned 8 weeks. here is her picture.
