That is TOO precious! Wish I had gotten a pic the day one flew the coop and my dog brought it to me! I don't let her have much alone time with them yet - they still seem fragile and my dog is not very bright - but those pics are wonderful!

Absolutely adorable!! Our beagles are the same way with "the babies"!! And I had to laugh when you said the one was more interested in the poop...finding and eating the poo is one of the main goals of one of ours! Excellent job getting them aquainted!!

As far as tips, I have been handling it the same way I introduced our cats to them, a lot of time sitting with the dogs and the chicks, petting them both and saying silly things like "good beagles, good chicks!" in very happy tones. Whenever the dogs are near the chicks, I repeat nice a lot and really praise them. They lap it up! If one starts getting too excited, I use down/leave it commands. So far, so good!
