My kids named our chicks: Goldie, Dustry, Zora, Janessa,Tindella, Cassandra, Alice, Allison, Kelly, Jenny and Natalie. I guess they are optimistic that they are all going to be hens.

What? No Sesame Street hen names? We have Henrietta(RIR) and Atila the Hen(BSL - she's the meanest to the new babies).

And I have a BSL named Hilda and a BR named Skippy Chick....because she literally skips while the others run.

One EE is being called Plain Jane because she is the least fancy of them.

I thought it would be cute to go with themes like old country singers: Loretta, Tammy, Rose, Wynona, Patsy, Reba, etc.. Or flower names like Poppy, Pansy, Petunia, Marigold, etc..

Our chicks will be here July 21th week. Going to name them: Tar Baby-Australorp, Corn Flake - Welsummer, Phyllis (as in Phyllis Diller) Silver laced Polish, Buttercup - Buff Orpington, Aunt Bea- Golden laced Wyandotte, Bunny - Easter Egger.
