We have six that we just got yesterday and my 4 year old named them tiana, rapunzel, belle, Arielle, Cinderella and Snow White even though we can't tell them apart lol
We've added 8 more to our flock.... couldn't resist. Love that chicken math! Our new chicks are Stella, Sally, Callie, Claire, Hettie, Cassie, Penny, and Winky. Hoping Hettie will not turn into Hercules....
We got 8 baby chicks at the beginning of this month.
A Partridge Silkie named "Chipmunk" (wow, I see now how amazingly original that is. But she is the first chickie I picked - because, she looks like a chipmunk!)
A grey Silklie with rust markings on her head named "Freya" (the kids said she looked as if she'd been in battle because of the markings)
A black and white/yellow Silkie (without the extra toes) "Minty" (my son said she reminded him of mint icecream... okay...!)
A Buff Orpington named "Twinkie" (she is big, yellow, and likes to eat)
A tiny yellow Sebright named "Butterscotch" (we wanted to name her Nugget, as in Gold Nugget, but that got vetoed)
3 Dominiques: "Penguin" (looks like a penguin! Really!), "Twyla" (a light patch on her head, looks like moonlight... Twilight? no, not that vampire silliness, so how about Twyla?), and "Penny" (we are Big Bang Theory fans here). My husband thinks Penny may actually "Ragnar", if she is a rooster. Too young to tell.
I love reading the names here! My friend has a rule: don't name the poultry. But we just can't help it!
