Fluffball (named by 4 year old, least friendly, most flighty chick)

Pecks was named before she was out of the box. She pecked all the others and me.

So we just got our first chicks 4 months ago, and I'm so ashamed. They started with names of Kickass Women Who Changed The World:

• Our buckeye was Ida B. (Wells-Barnett)
• Our speckled sussex pair were Suzie and Cady (for Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton)
• Our light brahma was Ruthie (Bader-Ginsburg)
• Our two buff orpingtons were Hillary and Lizzie (Clinton and Warren, of course!)

Four months later, their noble names have devolved to:

• Our buckeye is Red Beep
• Our speckled sussex pair are Speckle Beep and Other Speckle Beep
• Our light brahma is Dirty Beep
• And our two buff orpingtons are Sweet Beep and Mean Beep

So, so, ashamed.
