I havent even named mine yet its so hard because all of you are so educated on what type of chickens you have and I havent a clue what they are they were assorted from a alocal feed store... i wish i could pic heavy these threads and get some help of what type of birds i have.. i know i have a turken and some silkies and some frizzles but the others i have no clue.. love all the names

Our favorite chicken, a buff orpington, started out being named Beatrice. She was the biggest of all the chicks and my husband started calling her Big Bird...and it stuck! Now we have another chick of unknown breed, but also a yellow/red color who has been dubbed Little Big Bird!

My RIRs didn't get names, since we got them grown...then my neighbor's EE (but has always lived in my yard and is now mine) I call Mamas (since she laid her eggs here).
My rooster: Steven Tyler. My cockerels: Blondie & (Anne) Wilson (both supposed to be girls!)
My pullets: Indiana & Jones, Benetar, (Belinda) Carlisle, Stevie Nicks, and Mariah, Shakira, and Ariel. Hen: Ebony. Shakira is the friendliest.

I have a Red Star named Henrietta, 2 White Leghorns named Flo..as I can't tell them apart, 1 Brown Leghorn named Hazel and a
Australorp named Maude. Maude just hatched a baby Ancona for me..named Dot, ( hope it's a pullet!) I need an original Roo name as I just ordered a Salmon Favorolle
Roo and some hen chicks.

We had 3 Barred Rock roos we named Rocky, Appolo & Clubber, lol. Sadly we lost 2 of them, but Rocky lived, lol (kind of ironic). Then we had the silly names like Chicken Pattie, Chicken Nugget, Chicken Dip, lol.
