cutest chicken names!

Actually we have been struggling to name ours. So far we have Spottie(splash EE) Princess(GL cochin) Luna(self black polish), Polly(GL Polish), Mana-as in food of the gods(EE) and Athena(EE). I think we are headed toward greek/roman theme. c:

We named our rooster Gru & three of our girls Edith, Agnes & Margo. Despicable Me is my daughters favorite movie. Wish there were more girls in the movie , I have 7 other pullets that need names!

My friend was VERY cute and creative with her chicken names, these were ones she listed while she was trying to decide:

Grace Shell-y
Audrey Henburn
Sofia Laurhen
Laying Godiva
Princess Buttercup (a Buttercup chicken)
Mary Poopins
Feather Locklear
Maid Marihen
Elizachick Taylor
Henifer Aniston

My kids pick the craziest names for our chickens. The rooster is Fat Albert (from Bill Cosby), we also have Lady Gray, Blackie, Cheepers, Chocolate, Snowy. We've also had Little Red, Henny Penny, Tiny, and Big Stuff (little rooster who thought he was ALL THAT). We had a pair once named Hugs and Kisses (like the Hershey's candies).

Almost forgot about Chubby- he is the largest of our 2 week old chicks and ALWAYS the first to grab at mealworms and run around trying to keep them from everyone.
Funny!

We've had enough hens come and go through our yard that we've run out of names to call our new 10 pullets that we were surprised with. So far though we've had
Boo- she used to be our little scaredy cat, now she's queen of the coop. The irony stuck
Cathy, as old lady names go
Tuli- a RIR. Apparently it means fire in an obscure language
Bobbi- a RIR that sounded like a bob white
Ammu- our Cochin. A broody one. It means mother in Malayalam
Marie- the cockerel we swore was a hen. We wanted his head gone after how much trouble he caused... (Sadly he was lost to disease though)
And my personal favorite: Sam the Americana. Green eggs. Sam. Get it.

Lulu, blossom, posey, lolly, fifi, trixie, blissy, wilma, zazu, flo, Donna, fluffy, tiny, and flossy, all silkies :)

My hens:

Amber (RIP.), Henrietta (Henni), Ruby, Pollyanna (escapee), Daisy, Edith and Grace!

*Isa Browns, Austrlorps and Silkies

Mine are named Gracie, Sunny, Trumpet, Garlfield (suprizing-ly a girl), Peep, Cherio, Catlynn, Nemo, Evie, Winnie, Anna, Ava, Sydney, Jenna, and Buffy

Lady Gaga - Such an appropriate name.
Mine are Nugget, Wonky Wendy - has a bent toe, Maggie - bossy like Margaret Thatcher, Bella & Bertha - both big girl and Penny - she runs like Penelope Pitstop. Still working on names for another 6.

I had my class name a batch of chicks once and we got these names. Yolko, omlet, Jimbob and jombobby. We have also named some ourselves, we have burp a buff orpington, hopper a particularly lively one, Lacey a golden brahma, mascara one of those chicks with lines that come from the back of their eyes when they are young, Houdini an escape artist chick, fishy a chick that always seemed to stand in the water dish and the noisy little ******* a chick that always chirped in a high tone all the time
