I just receive my 4 weeks old chicks. . And I just pick up names for them.
White leghorn: Perlita (pearl in Spanish)
Araucana/ameraucana: Penny (big bang theory)
Silver laced wyandotte: Baby doll (she is tiny)
Buff Orpington: Canela (cinnamon in Spanish)
2 Red stars: Pumpkin and Pineapple
Cuckoo Maran: Cuckoo

Perlita and Canela are beautiful names. Some of mine have funny names such as Miss Beardsley, Beaula Bessie, Penelope Peabody, Brown Betty, Mother Clucker, Fluffy Puff, and Edna.

I named a hen Bonnie- I gave her away but liked the name so I named my next barred rock bonnie too.

We did that with our roos too. We've had two named Herman.

hmm.. she may ba Americana? I have three of them .. I also got four more silkies my favorite breed!! Sweetest little darlings!! Black one is named eclipse and the darker partridge is named cookie.. the white one if a hen marshamellow if a roo then just marshmallow .. havnt named the lighter partdridge .. thinking about mother clucker

LOL believe me I got in some trouble for that one! My mother came over to visit and when I told her their names she scolded me for that one.

Mother Clucker would be an excellent name for her!

Mine is such a loudmouth. Anytime anything happens she says "Ba-kot! Ba-kot!" especially when I walk away from her. Apparently I'm not supposed to do that and she has no problem telling me how she feels about it.
