We've named our new chicks after characters in my hubby's favorite tv series, Battlestar Galactica.

RIR - Boomer
Buff Orpington - Starbuck
Australorp - Dualla
Cockoo Marans - Number Six

I used to have a cat named Number Six! lol

I know this is an old thread, but my new chickens are named Mandy and Molly (white leghorns), Lucy and Paisley (Ameraucanas), Delilah and Delia (Buff Orpingtons), and Julia Penelope Rosa, which was our TINIEST chick, a black sex-link.

Mr. Bust - We were deciding on names so my sis came up wit Busty Then it was Mr. Busty Then it was Mr. Bust.
Tilly - Always Liked that name.
Jazzy - Just like the name
Fancy Pants - All the breeds Im getting are feather footed so I thought it would be nice. LOL! (FP for short)
Pilaf - Me and my sis were talking about Rice Pilaf and thus the name was born
Gunter - Penguin from adventure time. LOL...
Fluff Buns - You know chickens have some FLUFFY BUTS!
Persophone - Goddess of Nature.

So far we only named 3...Snow White for one of our Delawares, Shadow for the Black Australorp because he follows one of our silver laced and does everything she does, and Liz (my husband named her after me because he said she is nosy and the leader of the pack)....not funny...ok funny

We have two leghorns named Foghorn (couldn't resist) and Persephone, and two black Bantam Frizzle Cochins named Chiquita and Gir (Robot from Invader Zim.)

Golden Sex-link - Tots (Lady Tottington, Wallace and Gromit. She also looks like a tater tot according to my sister.)

Dominiques - Alice and Calypso (Alice in Wonderland, Pirates of the Caribbean)

Speckled Sussex - Lucy (Narnia)

Silver Laced Wyandotte - Kluck (Lady Kluck, Disney's Robin Hood)

Black Star - Bell (Bellatrix, Harry Potter)

Brown Leghorn - Velma (Scooby Doo)
