No, I'm PMEDO. (Pretty much every duck obsession.) I still love the Magpies just as much, but they don't lay quite as much, so I'd be dishonest to say the magpies were the best as far as beauty and usefullness goes. I'm still in love with the magpies. I'm so happy that my Magpie hen is broody! Along with the runner that is. They both have 10, and are in the same pen, they are on day ??? around 14...
yes, calls are just pets for sure. And so far hatch rates aren't good for me. If I am able to get any more ducks though I want welsh harlequins!they are simply gorgeous as well. What is their temperament like? Yes, I have some and they do very well. Though harlequins are almost as good and from what i have seen have bigger eggs, as do magpies.
