When she was born, I thought it would be super cool to cut off her beak and see how she looked with out it. I mean their babies; they do not feel any thing, Well after cutting it off she fainted a few time, but she seemed to do well after the next 3 months. I really wanted to make a statement with my ducks, I also hear about these Bessmer ducks and I thought I would get one of those to because I hear they are like pit bulls on steroids and I think it would be great to do the same to them as well. I would then have two beakless. Ducks, I also had a duck that I had to amputate parts of its feet because they looked like then needed it.
But she eats a mash that I make, and she loves me dearly, I would never let any thing happen to her!

In reality, she was attacked by a Turkey, and she was going to be killed, I rescued her and her head was sliced open to the gray matter, and her beak was cut off and she was only a day old, so even if she may be weird looking shes NOT....... She is the love of my life, and She bonds with many people. I get many stares from people, I just stop and stare back, and say "what I thought you look odd because you have ten fingers and a nose." Its not like you would stare any any one for being red headed or short or tall!
She just is a little star to me and she faced death over 3 times at only 1 day old

I live in IL, and she is a doll, any one is welcome! Shes one of a kind and very loving. However I think we are all partial to our little babieS!!!!! She is one funny and sweet girl, who does not think she is a duck and she likes to fly on my back and on my shoulder when her wings are not clipped..... which is right now!!!!

What a sweet story, and i sure like it alot better than the first one. Gosh I was afraid to read further because i just knew you were being attacked by everyone on here for cutting off her bill. whew am i glad you made that up. .
