Cutting/ filing Rooster spurs

Are his spurs long enough to be cut/filed if so should I do it myself or can I get someone to do it for me? He just turned one and the only problem is he is a tamed aggresive rooster and hates having his feet/legs touched so idk.

You could cut and/or file off the very tip to reduce/eliminate the sharpness.
I do all maintenance off the roost at night.
You'll have to get him contained, holding wings against his body and his feet in your hands.
Not easy to do single handedly.
