thank you all again for your kind words. It means alot to know there are so many other caring duck people out there.
Home now from putting her in the ground. She has her own unique headstone - just as every other duckling up there has. I shed a tear as I said goodbye- and thought about the fact that she is the only adult duck up there - the others all being babies. She may never have had her own little brood- while she lived here with me - But now up at my block of land- she is with the babies she was never able to care for while alive.
Rest in peace little Cindy...I will care for and raise your babies- and hopefully there will be one who grows up to look just like you........
