My little egg hatched! I have a cute little buff chick. It just hatched and is still wet, it hasen't fully absorbed the yoke a tiny bit is sticking out. Should I do anything or just let it dry up? No other pips but I have my fingers crossed.

Edit: I just went to check and my otheregg has piped! Moses never lets me down.

Awwwwwwww, how cute!! Its ok that the yolk is not completely absorbed....it should in the next 24 hrs. Congrats!!!!

The other piped egg hatched another buff! One of them has to be a girl right?

Cyn, I haven't seen anything from your eggs, but technically day 21 doesn't start until 6:30 tonight so there is still much hope. You also have to remeber that these are pullet eggs.

I just went to look at 'em and the second chick is a SLW/BO because it has a rose comb. I hope it is a girl mutts are so hard to sell.

I would definitely expect some of them to hatch. All 11 of the ones I sent Miss Prissy of Charlotte's and Silver's candled with veins growing. And, Caroline's hatched for herechickchick and countrygirlcleelum all the way in Washington State, so I agree, there's alot of hope for them!
