Anyone got thoughts on this?
I'm thinking of running my incubator a degree lower in temperature, so it runs at 99.5 instead of 100.5 with the intent to add a day to incubation. Think it will work?

When I'm hatching just chickens, I run mine at 99.5, when adding ducks and turkeys I use 99.8. I always have early and late hatches.

Any consistensy in what causes a late hatch?

Turns out they're actually due on Monday, the 3rd of June. So I'll probably let them run at their normal temperature, because I'm taking the chicks home Wednesday.

I have no idea, it seems like every hatch I've done has had early and late. I've tried rotating shelves, etc... No change.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do about the water conditioner situation
Sodium thiosulfate still has the potential to be harmful when too much is used, but at least I know what exactly it is, unlike Seachem Safe.
