Any of the three can get through chicken wire affixed with staples and all eat chicken. That said, you're probably right about the raccoon. They are smart and devout. It took them nearly two years to figure out how to defeat my shelters. So now I've fortified them even more. I use half inch hardware cloth attached with screws and fender washers for the sides. For the top, I attached 2x4 welded wire with metal strapping tape and screws, and then put the hardware cloth over the top. I also have a couple of hot wires running around the base with a solar charger.

Hi everyone. Have to run to the feed store to get gamebird feed. Should’ve gotten it yesterday.

does anyone know how to get a raccoon to stop coming to the coop. at least that is what i think it is. he ate my fav hen and after i buried her he came and dug her up and took her body i am know keeping my rooster on the porch in a dog crate at night cuz i am scared he will come after him.
