I bought this beauty from TSC from the straight run bantam bin. I have been trying to figure out breed ever since we first got it and go back and forth. Once I figure out the breed, then I would love to start figuring out gender. This one is probably the sweetest of our flock and wants to be by you.

I'm leaning towards a he and maybe Blue Cochin. They shouldn't be an Orpington because of the feathers on the feet.

This is a very late reply but I just got the notification for this and I already know what Blue Cochins look like as chicks, I have a Blue Cochin Bantam rooster that I hatched. And that mature female in the picture is not blue, that would be some kind of splash or a lavender with leakage.
