D’uccle or Cochin?

The man I got this trio from just called them “Mille fleur”. Does that mean Mille fleur D’uccle or could they be Mille fleur Cochin? I am sorry if this question makes no sense. I’m just confused.

Ok good, that’s what I was thinking, but can you tell me what the difference is? How do you tell the two apart?

These are D'Uccles.
Bantam Cochins have a round shape, with a round tail, shorter legs, softer feathering and no beard.

Yup, they are d'Uccles! Unfortunately, a lot of people don't realize that Mille Fleur is the variety, not the breed, so these birds are often simply called 'Mille Fleurs' instead of Mille Fleur d'Uccles as they should be.

I don't have any Mille Fleur Cochins to give you a direct comparison with the same color, but here is one of my Mottled Cochins so you can at least see the shape difference as Skyle described it. Cochins are definitely rounder and fluffier than d'Uccles.
