Haha, your so funny! Anyway back to bean! She is GEORGOUS, what would you call her, tri coloured? Black/blue pied? Anyway what she is she is beautiful!

She's blue pied, but she does have an insane amount of rusting. It's not a desirable trait in blues, but I don't mind it one bit. She looks like a little tortoiseshell duck, which is my favorite cat coat color, so I couldn't be happier. Apparently call ducks can't come in tricolor, I just learned that recently. Neat, huh? Genetics are so fascinating!

It's touch and go with Wobbles. Sometimes they're fine, others he attacks her. I'm just gonna have to try and keep them separated until the breeding season's over and his hormones calm down. Easier said than done, right?

2 of my 4 baby ducks. I tried hatching duck eggs for the very first time and am in love. Previously I've only hatched chicken eggs and quail.

Most people's pet Calls are pet quality not show quality. Besides, even pet quality Call bills are WAY smaller than Mallard bills and the Call ducks are just as adorable as well

I don't know much about the parent stock. Just sold to me as Calls. Got them to hatch for fun and eggs were mailed to me. I wondered that myself, lol.
