Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

I am in Michigan and am in search of any type of bantam duckling for sale. I had a single call duck hatch a few weeks ago and she is blind. The vet says she needs a companion, to help her figure things out, but the ban on poultry at the fairs is making it near impossible

As long as it's a bantam, I don't care about breed, gender, color, or quality. It will be an indoor pet, along with my little one. I would prefer a younger duckling though, in hopes of avoiding any possible domination issues with her (which is also why I want to stick with bantam size only). No more than 4-6 weeks. If ANYONE knows of ANY possible leads, please let me know! Thank you!

So upset right now... got home from vacation and my broody's single call egg was gone. I told everyone not to take the egg under her and hung a sign ON THE NESTBOX that said "DO NOT take Penelope's egg, there's a duckling inside" and it was gone when we got home. Nobody else lays in her box, ever. We called everyone and our neighbor said she took it but she forgot she left it on top of my growout pen run. She was at our house an hour before we got home. It was baking in the sun and the temp was mid-80's so I stuck it back under my hen and am praying for the best. I'm just mad beyond words...

I'd have LOST IT on my neighbor if they did that! What were they thinking?!?

I have no idea... I was bawling my eyes out when I saw it was gone. I just knew someone would do something stupid like that.

They're like, the world's best neighbors though, so I couldn't have burned the bridge with them. They let our 3 big dogs in their house all the time and if we're yelling out the door for the dogs sometimes they call like "They're on our couch right now, they'll be home in a few minutes." That's just a small example though, they'd do anything for anyone. So they're pretty cool otherwise. I mean, it just really bothers me that I told her in person AND left a sign on the box that had DO NOT bold and underlined with the fact that there was a live embryo inside and they just took it. I know she didn't do it purposely, but still... they know how much they mean to me.
