Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

Ok so I live in southern Ontario Canada. It's starting to cool off now so my ducks have not laid at all in the past few weeks and I've seen my male breed them once. Is the laying season over now? Or are my ducks old. I got. A few new ones and they never laid. I'm not sure if it was because they were too old or if they were old. I'm not sure of anyone's Age I bought from an breeder at an auction

They've probably quit laying for the season. Ours quit around 3 weeks ago.

Woohoo!!! We're leaving in a half an hour to go get our new kids!!!

Pictures coming soon!

SQUEEEEEEEE!!! Yes yes yes! Oh Lynn, let us know how it goes, okay? Good luck!

Hi, fellow call duck people! :) I haven't posted in a while, so I thought I would stop by with a couple pictures of my li'l duckies taken last weekend.

Trudi and Malcolm in their pool. It's really hard to tell, but they're molting. They're at the edge because I had just put their daughter, Crash, in an adjacent pen and, obviously, this offended them.

And just a few minutes later, here is Malcolm trying to show Crash who's boss while Crash is telling him she's having none of his nonsense today! I can't wait until they're over this so we can have one big, happy duck family. :/ Of course, first Crash must realize that she belongs outside, too...

There would be more, but they're uncooperative little squirts.

Oh Pip, those are some fantastic show quality birdies you got there! Where did they come from?

Aw, thanks! :D I got them last year at the Central Indiana Poultry Show in Lebanon, Indiana. Can't remember the name of the fellow's farm, but he was from Michigan as I recall. Something like M&J Waterfowl?
