Thank you so much Amykins! I just can't believe they are here and how much I love them already! I also want to say thank you for sharing all your stories about Wobbles and Bean. If it weren't for their cute little antics I probably wouldn't have mine! I said I was done! Haha!

You will be amazed at how much personality is packed into those teeny tiny chubby butts of theirs! Hey, do me a favor, let me know if your whites have a Pekin-like personality. I swear Wobbles behaves just like a quirky silly Peke, whereas Bean acts like...well, an actual duck, LOL!

LOL! From the little bit I seen tonight I would say Gadget acts very similar to Henry. He could be his "mini me!" Gidget seems pretty shy yet. I can't wait for their personalities to unfold over the next few days.

Ugh, that was such a long drive. A little over 6 hours there and back. The anticipation on the way made it feel like forver and the stress of watching the little hen pant (I'm assuming she was stressed) was aweful. I felt so bad for her. He was pretty relaxed.

On the up side... It was soooo worth the drive! They are so adorable!!! I can't get over how perfectly tiny they are. It's like someone put my pekins in the dryer and accidently shrunk them! They seem to be doing really well. They aren't terrified of us at all. As I'm typing this they are within arms reach. I'm content with that for today. Lol The family are all in agreement with Gidget and Gadget. My six year old son just adores them. I am officially a call duck owner! YAY!

Congratulations! Pretty little babies. Hope we'll see lots of pics in the future (says the lady who never posts pics).

X2 for black. Is it the green that was making you wonder? The better-colored black ducks have a greenish iridescence when you see them in short wavelength light. Unusual coloring of the bill and feet, though, which makes me wonder if something else was mixed in. Solid black ducks usually have black bills and feet/legs.

I am so excited for you. Congratulations. And I still love the names. Amykins did great suggesting Gidget and you did great with Gadget. Cute comment about Henry and Hazel being shrunk and now u have these 2. So, I have a question since I have never seen a call before. Are they about the size of a large pigeon? I've seen people holding them but comparing them to another burd would give me perspective.
