Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

Oh yeah... And I forgot to mention they are indoor babies as of now. My hubby says they are too small to live outside! I had to laugh because where we went to get them they were outside. He was disgusted with the small house they were living in and the conditions of it. What I'm thinking is if they adjust well to us, inside it is! If they seem to have a hard time making the adjustment, I will have to talk to the hubby. I want my babies to be happy!

YES! Double house duck call mamas, for the win! High-five!

Hehe I think it's cute how at first your husband wasn't even sure about the whole thing, now he's complaining about the breeder's conditions and insisting they stay inside the house. I love how quickly hubbies tend to do that when faced with these adorable lil' turnips. :p

Thank you Jade, I will be posting lots of pictures! I would LOVE to see pics of your little cuties if you find the time... And I'm very sorry to hear about your little girl. I hope you find some answers. I couldn't imagine how sad that had to be for you.

It's not as much about having time as having uncooperative birds. I can't get the kinds of pics the rest of you get. I think my dislike of having my picture taken has rubbed off on my ducks. Every time I'm about to get a pic of an individual one or small group, they always turn away so all I can get a pic of is their butts.

Next thing you know he's going to be asking you when they'll have babies.

Haha! High fiving you back with a huge ear to ear smile to boot! Yep, loving the sound of little pitter patter of tiny duck feet around the mud room right now! Man, it hard to get good pictures of them though.

Just had a neighbor/relative stop by. When she seen the ducks inside, well the look on her face said it all. She was like, "More ducks?" I was like yup! The way she said it you would think I had ducks coming out my ears. 4 ducks and two geese is nothing really... Oh well. I guess I'm a crazy duck lady now! ;)

These two seem to like pictures taken of their butts too. At least they are cute!

He's already asked that! He wants babies bad! He wanted babies with these guys but I talked him into adults and added the perk of babies as an incentive. He's in love since he seen them so babies or not, we're good!

If it makes you feel better, I have to take at least 20 pictures of the backs of my duckies heads for each good picture I get. Same goes for my chickens. I probably take 100-200 pictures every time I go out there with the camera and maybe 15 are worth sharing for all that effort. The divas!

Loving all the ducky pictures, everyone! :love Just the thing I need after a long day at class!

Yup, sounds all too familiar, ha! They'll be doing something cute, holding position, holding position, then the instant you take out the camera, GONE. Never fails! It's like ducks have a special organ, the "Murphy's Lawglottis".
