Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

No, ducks can't see a ghostly presence. Only dogs and horses can do that, and maybe water buffalo. That's probably why my dogs sometimes look in the kitchen and bark for no apparent reason. The presence might be there right now for all I know.
Well that explains her casual look and appearance. She doesn't see the hand coming out of the floor. Although hopefully if one of your dogs sees it, he/she will rip it out of the floor. Now I never know water buffalo could see ghostly apparitions.

Well all birds ( including poultry and water fowl) can see ultra violet light along with every single visible color , while dogs can actually see only Browns, some reds, some greens and some yellows I think. If anything birds would actually see ghost and feel their presence more than dogs.

So this thread has turned into a debate not just about whether or not ghosts are real, but whether or not ducks can see them. Did someone slip something into my morning coffee?

I didn't know that. Then her duck is awfully calm. It may not be her first sighting.

Right. I don't think we need to debate whether they exist since we can see there were some in my kitchen. I didn't see any indication that the duck knew they were there. My grandmother told me that the only animals that can see ghosts are dogs and horses, and everything she ever said was right, except for when she used to tell me if I kept sticking my tongue out my face would freeze that way.

Please pardon this brief interruption to your regularly scheduled banter...

Please don't forget...deadline for "other poultry" calendar picture submissions is tomorrow. I know I've seen some wonderful pics on the duck threads that haven't been submitted yet...

Well hey now, let's not jump to conclusions. It seems fairly obvious to me that those apparitions are the result of light bouncing off the ozone layer and messing with the camera. The duck is the only REAL ghost in that photo!
