I intervened the yoke had hardened thick to the wing and head had a great help o this one from a knowledged duck whisperer lets hop he makes it

my wife wants to show call ducks what color is a good show color and where would I get chicks?

You can show any of the recognized colors but you're most common colors are grey and white at shows. They are the smallest typically with the shortest bills. Look up the call duck association and pick your favorite color and just go from there. Some colors are just more refined than others. Just remember when you get smaller ducks with shorter legs and bills, the harder they hatch.
