Thanks I'll try thatThe best way to get a nice starter pair or trio of good quality Calls is to order from a reputable breeder and have them shipped in the Fall. Responsible breeders usually won't ship ducklings because it's way too hard on the little things. In the fall, the spring and summer hatchlings have feathered out and can be assessed for quality and shipped. The fall weather is much better for shipping Calls...not too hot, not too cold, but juuuuuust right!![]()
I should have pairs in the following colors available this fall: Buff, Khaki, and Pencilled/Dusky Project Calls. Another great breeder is Matt Kuecker. I got my first pair of Buffs from him and will be getting more of his birds this Fall....if all goes as planned at least!![]()
