Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

Cute!

-Kathy

Being sticky and being shrink-wrapped are very different issues. I'm not saying that's definitely not the case, I'm saying that's not the likeliest cause of the problem. I wouldn't know without seeing them, and neither of us are qualified to make medical diagnoses sight unseen.

He asked if any of us have experienced this exact same thing before, and I have. Therefore I am just relaying my personal experience, my professional opinion, and the treatment that helped save Wobbles's life. The issue could be dire and my concern is with those babies, not with who is "right".

@AmandaVirginia
, those are some adorable babies! Please take some more photos when they've been fluffed out, we could all use some squee therapy :p

Weebeep, so cute, adorable and precious.

Thanks y'all! I love my little yellow baby!

My little yellow baby has four grey siblings! Two are still in the incubator, one is fluffing out and one is still partially in it's egg absorbing the rest of it's yolk!

I eggtopsied the four that didn't make it. Two were greys that had internally pipped but couldn't reach the shell to externally pip and I feel terrible about it. The other two were breach (my first two ever breach babies) and unfortunately I had no idea. To make matters worse both of the breach babies were YELLOW babies

I'm just so happy that I have my one yellow miracle baby. He or she is VERY loved!

For those that might want to use Baytril

Of course it's always best to use something like this under the supervision of a vet, but let me know if you need help figuring out a dose.

So sorry for your losses.

Sadly I have learned the hard way how to spot the ones in trouble, and like your eggs, often I find them internally pipped, yet unable to pip the shell.

Thank you. Yes, I've had to external pip most of my babies after they internal pipped but there have been a few I haven't gotten to in time. :(

RUBBER CHICKEN! :love  Bean has stopped Rubber Chickening. She only puts one leg back now. What would you even call that? The Semi-chicken?

Lol, that is cute too! My one month old greys always lay together and each will do a semi-chicken making a rubber chicken together! Duke will stretch is right leg and Duchess will stretch her left leg! Haha, they're cuties!
