Pip was having a hard time making it out, so I am praying the siblings make it out ok! This is the first clutch for my call girl! I am over the moon!

Congrats!!! Those babies make your heart melt faster than ice cream in summer.

Darn... I was hoping I'd still get mostly white. I'll run a test hatch or two in spring and see what the colors come out to be. If it's not what I want, I'll sell the grays.

I'm working on the genetics stuff but am not anywhere near as good with it as some here. I'm hoping you'll get responses from some who are certain how that's likely to work out. They really are very cute little ducks.

Got some new babies yesterday! They're a pair, but the drake is molting right now. Apparently they're show quality (I don't think so, but the female is better quality than the drake obviously). I was going to have an all white flock, but when I saw them, I couldn't resist. White and gray don't mix right?

Weebeepers, look at those cute birds, I mean call ducks.

She and the rest of her eggs disappeared into thin air. We have no clue what happened. Our run and duck house are secure. No dug out spots. We have thick bird netting over the top. It doesn't make sense. A few eggs had hatched. No signs of babies..... This happened mid-July and we still don't know what happened;( we're out in the country, so it couldn't of been theft. My Drakes acted like nothing happened. I wish we had put a trail-cam out there.

Good morning all. Some cute pics of the latest arrivals in the Australian Call side of the pen. One has some sort of eye probs that we are treating, but he looks to be unable to see at the moment. One was slow coming out and got booted from the nest, so we have him under a heat lamp. He is not really ready for photos yet
