Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

Heehee. Love the nudge, nudge. What is a duck run? And while in the duck run that is indoors would they be diaper less? I'd want mine to be indoors like yours but since I work away from the house all day, I'd be concerned about a full diaper after 9 hours of being away.

Sounds like people get pretty creative with cool things making their duckies comfy. I love it. Mine would have to be restricted to a space too. SInce I am not home, they'd need to be. But then, what if they can fly out of the indoor run thing? Unless it has a top. I don't know. So many things to consider.

Oh heck no, they wouldn't be diapered while in their big pen. Only for when they scurry around on my carpets! As for the flight thing, I'll admit the website I found had pekins and they weren't going anywhere once in that thing. I was considering just buying some large dowels and making a canopy out of mosquito netting to prevent them from flying up and over. That way I could put some ramps in there and platforme, maybe carve up my old cat tree that never gets used and make a little duckie fun house with a cave for Bean to potentially nest in.

Here's where I got the idea from:

A pair of boys is really very quiet compared to a mated pair... and yes, they can live together very well... I have 2 boys separate from my others right now and they are super sweet...

How do two males handle being in season? If you had an all-male flock, would they still fight come springtime?

They do just fine as long as they are separate and away from the girls... they get a little rambunctious with each other once in a while, but their hormones don't rage as much not having access to girls... no actual fights, no injuries at all... just a bit of 'water wrestling' and they lose interest quick...
I know someone who has a flock of boys and does it on a regular basis without issues too... :)

May I have some opinions on duck pics? I'm using these for an ad, and the "best" one is the one that gets displayed on the listing page before the listing is opened to see the rest. I already have one in mind but would be grateful if the rest of you can chime in to see which one you think would most catch your attention. Thanks!!!

They are all adorable! If I were to choose though, it would be a toss up on pitures 4 & 5. :)

Ad is more focused on pairs, right? If so, then I'd say #2 or #6... I like 2 better, but 6 shows grays too... jmo... :)
