Hello Deb! I figured I would let her try. The people I got her from have always incubated her eggs, so I'm hoping she'll figure it out on her own. We'll see...

Will you please keep us posted?

@Amykins I definitely second @buff goose guy . The little one is alive and growing, pulling the plug on it is what would be utterly heartbreaking. If he or she does make it to lock down and hatches you can then 1) keep it 2) or rehome it with someone that already has ducklings/ducks. It could have a wonderful life.
I THIRD IT...

Hi, I'm new to duck owning. I was told mine where Call ducks but not 100% sure. What type they actually are!
Could you help me identify what type they are please?
400
thank you

A trick for staggered is to separate the smaller ones after they hatch for a number of days equal to half the hatch difference rounded down. While separated give the smaller ones food with 4-6% more protein. It will help even out the sizes. Just make sure the separation isn%t too large or you could create other problems. Also keeping a small stock of high protein food can come in hander for molting and injuries.
