Da' Cute and Cuddly Call Duck thread!

View attachment 1140574 View attachment 1140575 I can't seem to get marshmallow wrapped. I have been "this" closea few times. Annoying! I am using a sock cut down lengthwise, and wrapping it like this; put middle of wrap under tail, tuck in wings, cross the 2 ends over the wings to make an x when viewed in top, and then pin in front. Marshmallow just won't sit still! Any ideas on how to get her successfully wrapped? The sock I use is thick than the one pictured. Is the pattern right???

@casportpony didn't you have a link that showed how to wrap a duck?

I know it's a goose. . .if you use vet wrap you will have to probably cut it in half length wise cause calls are so little. I had to watch it a bunch of times. . . but finally got it. Had to have help holding the duck too Lol.

I'm pretty sure both the Calls are girls! :fl

Working on wrapping Marshmallow. I may get a drake for them.

@Ravynscroft What happens when you cross a white with any other call color (i.e. Blue fawn over white)

Ah... throw dice? lol... white is recessive, so all depends on what colors/patterns it is hiding... greys and blue fawns would be a couple possibilities crossing to blue fawn...
