He's on the couch, but he probably has been on my bed before. That cutie pie was raised in the house. He sure can be aggressive. He tries to take on my rooster and it's going to end badly if I don't get rid of that rooster soon.

My oldest White drake, Dewey, will take on ANYTHING.
Fortunately, to this point, everyone has backed down from him. Those Calls are maniacs!

My chickens peck him in the head when he attacks them. He doesn't want them to drink out of the water dish when he is playing in there. I've seen what those chicken's beaks have done to a mouse they pecked and I don't want my poor little duck to get a bloody head. But he has no fear. He was actually the only one that escaped out of a cage that he was in with some chicks during a mink attack. Maybe that experience made him such a tough guy. He's going to be a terror when breeding season comes!

My boy just keeps backing them up-they act like they want a piece of him and then decide better.
It's only chickens though, he's really good with the other ducks.
Once in awhile, he'll run up and hit me in the back of the legs. Tried to explain to him that he's too cute to be scary, but he just doesn't understand.

Everyones calls are soooo cute! I am getting anxious to start hatching some babies, spring can't come soon enough. When does the breeding season start? My snowy hen is TINY! Can a call be too tiny to breed?

Here is Tiny Petuna, my snowy hen. She hatched about May 1st and weighs 14.5 oz.

The breeding season is from around January to Junish. Mine are breeding like crazy right now due to our 75 degree temps. Can't wait for spring!
