My Dad just emailed me and said that.
"We ate him last Saturday,
So, no the roo didn't win, I did. "

The rooster was only 6 months old, but very territorial!

Edit: Crazy4chicks: I think he is one of the official Papua New Guinea White chickens. I'm sure he has some Leghorn in him, which they use on their egg farms, but other than that, the chicken was originally introduced to that country by migrating Austronesian peoples who sailed across the Pacific Ocean, settling most of the islands between 2000-1000 years ago. They originally were from South east asian; so I suppose he's sort of related to the jungle fowl and such.
