Those are GREAT pics. And it could be my hubby and Henry the leghorn roo. They have these little battles all the time. I think Henry thinks it's a game now. But he doesn't do it with me. I think it's a "man" thing!

Looks like the roo was just trying to protect to me. Your Dad needs to assert that he is higher in pecking order. My roo tried to do that with my youngest DD the other day and I informed him she is higher in pecking order than he is (she is only 3 1/2, so hard for her to do). He left her alone after that. Protective roos don't like strangers (it's been an extrememly cold winter so my youngest DD hasn't been out in the coop much).
